Open Caterham 2010Saturday 5th June & Sunday 6th June 2010 |
22nd May 2010 |

As part of the 'Open Caterham' weekend we will be opening our Observatory at Kenley to the Public on Saturday 5th June & Sunday 6th June 2010 from 12:00 to 17:00 BST.
Open Caterham is like open house, open gardens and heritage days all happening the same weekend BUT with a Caterham focus. This is a chance to find out more about your town and get through some doors that are usually closed.
Of course an astronomical observatory is usually used at night but thanks to the wonders of technology we hope to show you the following:
Our observatory is located in Waterhouse Lane off Hayes Lane Kenley. Please park in Hayes Lane by the Battle of Britain Memorial and then walk to the observatory. More details of the location of the observatory can be found here.
If you want to see the night sky from our observatory you need to come back on a Saturday evening from September to May. More details of evening visits are on our 'Public visits to our observatory' page.
