National Societies

The CAS support the activities of both The Federation of Astronomical Societies & SAGAS links to many other Astronomical Societies can be found via these sites. As you will see from our page on Light Pollution we support the Campaign for Dark Skies.

The CAS was originally formed as a branch of the Junior Astronomical Society - this has now been renamed the Society for Popular Astronomy (SPA). You can find details of Astronomical Societies throughout the World from Sky & Telescopes - Listing of Astronomical Societies.
