The CAS Exhibition meeting at the Royal Russell School on the 11th July has been cancelled due to building work at the school. The next meeting at the Royal Russell School will be on the Friday 5th September 2008 at 19:45. The exhibition meeting will be held later in the year.
To enable you to show us what you have done in the last year please bring prints or A3 sized posters of your work to the Barbeque at Kenley on the 9th August 2008. We will put these on the walls for all to see. Please add a caption with your name and details of the image.

The CAS Barbeque at Kenley planned for Saturday 21st June 2008 has had to be postponed due to a poor weather forecast. It will now take place on Saturday 9th August 2008.

Brief details of the CAS Summer Barbeque are on the events page. Also the dates for the last Public evening before the Summer closure of the observatory added.

CAS Lecture Programme Updated |
The lecture programme has been revised - Paul Harper will be giving his lecture on the 29th February on The Early Soviet Space Programme. The digital imaging evening has been postponed until next term.

Link to SAGAS ezine added |
A new link has been added to the CAS front page to the SAGAS electronic newsletter 'The Reporter' to allow CAS members to download a copy. The Reporter is designed to keep members of SAGAS societies updated with what is going on. Look for details of the IOW Star Party and the SAGAS general meeting on the 19th January 2008.
